We left the Kansas City area early Sunday afternoon a bit behind schedule. We could not get our lights to work on the Jeep. Our daughter and son-in-law suggested a blown fuse. Of course, I did not think so. After wasting 30 minutes, I checked the fuse to the modulator. Yep, blown fuse. So, we got underway heading to St. Louis via the Ho Chi Minh Trail, aka, Interstate 70. That new road name is attributed to Scott Truett above, a long time friend and co-worker in the National Weather Service. He looks a bit fried because he is on midnight shifts, and the pic was taken about 8 PM in the evening. Carla has a new purse and loves showing it every where she goes, standing next to Leigh, Scott;s bride of many years. Scott has done RAGBRAI the last three years.
